In the beginning....

So I've been sitting here at the computer for the last six hours contemplating if I should start a blog or not, and if so what would I even write about?  My problem is that I'm into too many things.

 Too many choices...

For example, I'm a stay at home mom, so there are a plethora of subjects I could write about for mommy and baby not limited to ways to keep the house clean, lack of sleep, activities to entertain little ones, how to save a dollar, and so on.

Or I could blog about my art and different crafts I'm into.  Maybe post a few tutorials, some links to some of my favorite crafty sites.  Always love a good art project.

I could even go on about everything home related.  We just bought our first house and the last two months of unpacking (no we're not slow, just out of room) have me staring blankly at walls and room configurations with our furniture.  Turns out in an effort to not become house poor with the struggling economy biting at our heals, we bought a smaller house and in turn bought less house than stuff we actually own.  So I've been paring down and getting creative with the home.  For example, how do you combine living, dining, office, craft, and play spaces all in one room?  Still working on that one, I'll get back to you...

At least I started on a budget, you can try here too.

Lets not forget about the resident family geekiness that exists within these walls either.  I love my family.  We are all dorks.  My husband is at least not terminal anymore (so he says) because he married me and produced offspring.  My oldest daughter is hooked on Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto (try making a Sakura costume out of a pillowcase for Halloween).  My youngest, while not old enough to understand what we are subjecting her young impressionable mind to, will grow up to love all things Star Wars, ComicCon, steam punk, and other manners of geekery we will confess to.

Why not write about my cooking adventures you say?  I love to cook.  I love to bake.  I love food.  I'm in love with Gordon Ramsay (but don't tell my husband).  Sigh.  I have no idea why either.

Wait, when is Hell's Kitchen on again?

Or I could take that further and write about all things cake.  Cake.  Yummy, divine, melt in your mouth cake.  Mmmm.  One day I might even take that trip down Courage Ln and open my own bakery or cake shop.

Oh I could go on about all manner of other things I could write about, but as I've wasted 6, no 7 hours now glued to this computer, lets just call this blog as my first attempt to write about anything and everything I want to. 

So here's a big spanking Happy Birthday to my new blog, whatever it may turn out to be!  :)
